This large hole behind me is not
a man-made hole. It is a hole formed 50 000 years ago during a meteoroid impact
with Earth. The meteoroid was a 50m nickel-iron object that hit the surface with
a speed of 12.8 km/s. This impact crater is one of the most preserved impact
craters on Earth. It is located 60 km east of Flagstaff. Worth visiting!
